Welcome to the homeland of the Gönci-peach! Did you know that Boldogkőváralja is the home of the biggest Gönci apricot plantation? And that the most delicious peach marmalade are made from this? That this unique (falling under the protected designation of origin scheme) fruit can be made into schnapps, syrup, dumpling, pastry, or even coffee? If you don’t believe it, join us during the harvest season, and get convinced that there is nothing more mellow than the Gönci apricot!
